Family Fun Night @ the YMCA Family Fun Nights are held the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month(during the school year) from 6-9pm. This is an opportunity for families to come and enjoy some quality time together. Activities include swimming, basketball, dodgeball, climbing wall, other gym activities, arts and crafts, sometimes family movies, and always snacks and drinks. Cost: $5 per child(ages 4-16) Adults are free when accompanied by a child Check the events calendar for upcoming dates!
Pocono Teen Club The Pocono Teen Club is held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays from 7-9:30pm at the Dominic Lockwood Youth center during the school year. We have field trips, game tournaments, and teen have a safe place to go and get together. We have pool tables, air hockey, ping pong, books, board games, video games and snacks. The club is open to all 5th through 9th graders. there is a $5 fee at the door and a parent signature is required to participate. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy This 7 week program will teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including house training, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. Puppies must be under one year of age. Preregistration is required.

Super Dog – Canine Good Citizen Super Dog Canine Good Citizen Prep course will be offered on Mondays at 8pm starting September 28th. this is a six week course. Fees: Members $95 Non-Members $115
How to be a Jazz Singer Want to learn to sign Jazz, during this 4 week Jazz Vocal 101 course you will be studying basic vocal exercises, find your range and key ffor a song, be introduced to scat singing and the major, minor and dominant scales. The course will be taught by Nancy Reed. nancy has over 8 years exeriance in teaching private vocal students, and is active within the Jazz community. Registrations are now being accepted. Session Dates: September 7th, 14th, 21st, snd 28th from 6:30-7:30pm Fees: $40 Members/ $60 Non-Members
Super Sitter Class Open to girls and boys age 11 and older can learn how to become a "Super Sitter" from our 4 week babysitting class. This class covers Pediatric and Child CPR, fire safety, liability issues, and much more. September 9th - September 30th Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm
Art Discovery with Shon If your child is interested art and drawing there is no better way to get started than to work with a professional artist. During these one hour group classes your child will get to work with charcoals, colored pencils, water colors and more. Students must supply their own materials. Classes are open to ages 5 & up and run monthly at 11am. Fees: $48 Members/ $68 Non-Members
Dance Classes for Youth Youth dance lessons in Jazz and Tap will be offered for children ages 5 -14. Classes will begin monthly. All students must have appropriate shoes. Pre-registration is required, all students should register at least one week before the start of class.
Jazz for ages 5-9 will be held on Thursdays from 5-6pm. Jazz for Ages 10-14 will be held on Thursdays from 6-7pm. Tap for Ages 5-12 will be held on Fridays from 5-6pm. Session Dates: September 9th - October 1st October 7th - October 29th November 4th - November 19th (3 weeks) December 2nd - December 17th (3 weeks) Fees: $45 Members/ $60 Non-Members (4 weeks) $34 members/ $45 non-Members (3 weeks)
Ballroom Dance Classes Learn the Cha Cha, Swing, Waltz, Merengue, Fox Trot and More! Classes run monthly on Sundays from 12 -2 pm. Singles Welcome! Fees: $40 Members/ $52 Non-Members
