Stewards of Children
Darkness to Light - End Child Sexual Abuse
Stewards of Children is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. In this 3 hour workshop, adults will view a three-part DVD containing commentary from sexual abuse survivors and experts in the field, utilize their participant workbook and participate in facilitator-led discussions.
Stewards of Children:
- Increases awareness of the prevalence, consequences and circumstances of child sexual abuse
- Provides new skills for adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse
- Promotes positive change to organizational policies and procedures
- Increases individual commitment to action through a personal prevention plan
This program is presented at the Pocono Family YMCA or we can bring it to your organization! Great training for youth based organizations, churches, day cares, after school programs and anyone who cares about the welfare of children.
