Individuals who participate in YMCA Fitness Centers become a part of a community of members who support each other with long-term health and well-being pursuits. YMCA Fitness Centers provide a welcoming, safe, and non-intimidating environment where health seekers achieve a sense of accomplishment in initiating and sustaining regular physical activity and other healthy habits.
Our Y Fitness Center includes reassuring staff that are trained to guide and encourage individuals to progress at their own pace and to create an individualized exercise plan that is personally meaningful to the participant. The flexible hours of operation and the variety of exercise options in our center allows members to choose their own workout and exercise routines, according to their own schedule. Individuals who use our center will be comfortable with their exercise program, be physically stronger, have more endurance, and have a high degree of self-confidence and commitment towards regular physical activity and well-being.
Fitness Center Policy:
No one under 16 years of age is permitted in the Fitness Center unless they have completed the Teen Strength program. Youth 12-15 years old may use the equipment after successfully completing the Teen Strength Training Program. Their Teen Strength Cards are required to be worn upon entry to the Fitness Center.
