Teen Camp

This weekly program is for students in 7th through 10th grade who are looking for a fun filled summer while learning to be a leader. Teen Camp is an opportunity for teens to develop leadership skills, have responsibility and express creativity. Teen Camp activities will include walking trips, field trips, community service projects, swimming, fitness, arts and crafts, safety and awareness seminars, and career exploration.

All participants will be introduced to fitness this summer. Our fitness staff members will conduct fitness training with campers to establish reachable fitness goals. Once they pass the "Teen Strength" test, campers will be allowed and encouraged to use the fitness center and group exercise classes. The campers will also swim in our indoor pool, with occasional trips to local outdoor pools and lakes.

Teen Camp will provide opportunities for building a sense of belonging in their communities, promoting personal growth and social skills to develop leaders who will be a positive force in their communities. Our members will research and participate in service projects throughout their community.

Each week will feature a different area of our community, including occupations, businesses, volunteer opportunities, and healthy living. There will be guest speakers, trips, and projects relating to the week's theme.
